Last week on RAW, former WWE Champion Kofi Kingston celebrated the 10^th Anniversary of The New Day along with teammates Xavier Woods and the returning star Big E. Kingston officially turned heel during this segment and ultimately, it turned out to be one of the best and emotionally touching segments in the recent days of WWE.

The recent storyline of the New Day showed the decline of Xavier Woods’ babyface persona and Kofi Kingston continuously trying to keep him on the good side. Fans were waiting to see a potential feud between a heel Xavier Woods and babyface Kingston soon but surprisingly, Kington decided to go on the path of Woods last week on RAW.

Kingston and Woods organized a celebration for New Day’s 10^th anniversary on RAW last week where Big E also joined. But Woods and Kingston surprised everyone when they insulted Big E and drove him out of the faction. Ultimately, they decided to abandon the legendary faction as well.

This segment was supposed to gain massive heat for Woods and Kingston from the fans in support of Big E. But the fan reaction was not as good as it was expected. Kingston recently shared his disappointment on the fans of Wichita, Kansas when he wrote on his X / Twitter handle;

"I'm still so incredibly disappointed in the people of Wichita, Kansas for not letting us speak," Kingston wrote. "I'm also disappointed in the WWE Universe for your lack of sympathy on social media platforms. I really think that if you'd just hear us out, you'd change your minds."

Kingston and Woods also appeared this week on RAW where they were seen playing their new heel persona, and unfortunately, they are not the New Day anymore. However, there was no sign of Big E this week on RAW. It will be interesting to see where this storyline heads in the near future.
