iQOO 12 5G specs and images leaked, launch date also confirmed

The upcoming iQOO 12 5G is making headlines these days. The specs and images of the flagship device were leaked earlier online. Now, the company has also confirmed the launch date. As per the sources, the iQOO 12 5G will be launched officially in India on November 12th, 2023. In China, however, it will be unveiled on Nov 7th. The launch date was recently confirmed by Nipun Marya, the CEO of iQOO India. Incidentally, the upcoming iQOO 12 5G has a collaboration with BMW M Motorsport, as is clear from the teaser images.

This is going to be among the first few Android devices in India, coming with the mighty Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC. The phone will also feature a 6.78-inch E7 AMOLED screen developed by Samsung. The design of the phone is very stylish and it has resemblances with other popular models developed by BBK Electronics, including the Oppo Reno 10 Pro+. At the back, there sits a square rear camera module housing 3 sensors.

As the upcoming iQOO 12 5G is a flagship-grade device, the specs are going to be excellent. Reportedly, it has an under-display ultrasonic fingerprint scanner and the device will also support 120W quick charging. It will be laden with a 5,000mAh battery and have FunTouchOS 14, based on Android 14.

The upcoming iQOO 12 5G may be priced rather competitively. The predecessor, aka iQOO 11 had a launch price of INR 59,999. However, given the fact that the device is being unveiled in the festive season, there might be some inaugural offers.
