The iPad is more than just entertainment; it indeed has grown to become a really trusted productivity gadget. Unfortunately, most of these people do not know that there are hidden features in iPad that completely change the use for the device. This paper will highlight one of those features that have revolutionized the way we use the iPad.

Split View Mode of iPad: New Definition of Multitasking

Many have installed Split view long time ago, but few users know such a feature or don't really use it. By enabling that feature, you can run two different applications at the same time. For example, while you do research on Safari on one side of the screen, you are currently writing that information on another side in Notes.

How to Enable Split View:

  • Drag the app from the dock to the right or left onto the screen.
  • Then open the other app and set it on the screen in the same way.
  • There you go, and voila, you can multitask with these two things on the same screen, ease in a word and just better multitasking.

Drag and Drop: A New Way of Transfer For Files

When Split view turned on, you could simply drag and drop content from one app into the other. Pictures, links, text, and even files are dragged right into one app and straight out into another app.

This is an absolute lifesaver when it comes to my writing projects. For instance, I can drag an image from Safari and just drop it into Notes with no fuss whatsoever.

Great Use of Apple Pencil

Thus, using Apple Pencil really proves to be that iPad is an awesome-all productivity tool. Especially now, with joining all these fantastic features together, it has made annotation, highlights, and sketching with Split View super fast

The entire experience has changed for me since activating the feature of Split View and Drag and Drop. Everything happens here at once rather than taking so long for one thing to be done, so it gets faster and easier, especially for students, writers, or professionals.
