The public beta of iOS 26 has been made available. People are eagerly waiting to try out the many new features of this latest version. Still, no one is rushing to beta-download because that has some drawbacks. Here are six reasons why it does not suit you to use this beta.

IOS 2

Very High Odds for Bugs and Errors

Beta means still testing; it always has many bugs, crashes, or glitches, which can slow down your phone's performance. Other things like the crashing apps or hanging, leaking from the RAM memory come along.

Battery Drain Scenario on iOS Public Beta

This beta version is wholly unoptimized for battery performance. With this beta, you'd see your phone running out of charge faster than you'd expect. Don't update if you're concerned about the battery life of the phone at this time.

Incompatible with The Regular Apps

It is still very far from finalization, and hasn't been completely finalized yet by developers. Lots of third-party applications are most likely to exhibit some inconsistencies with this new upgrade.

iCloud and Data Loss Risk

The beta versions sync poorly with iCloud such that files, notes, and pictures are at risk of vanishing altogether. It's dangerous to run a beta version without a backup.

The Reversion Process Seems Tedious and Long

This is tedious because you will have to perform the full restore and downgrade to the previous version of iOS, a time-consuming process that can also cause irretrievable data loss.

IOS 3

It's Coming Up Soon to General Release

The final version of iOS 26 could be released in the next few weeks. Instead of using the unsafe beta version, wait for two or three days to get the stable and secure version.

It is normal to be excited about the new features, but it's safe and sound not to try this Public Beta before usinBatterytteryy, speed, and security of data should wait for the final, more stable version. First data, then device experiment.
