Using desktops and laptops comes with their own share of advantages and limitations for sure. While desktops can be used more rigorously and are usually easily upgradable, laptops score in the mobility department. However, would it not be nice if you get a PC that combines the best of both sides? That is what HP wants to achieve with its new Envy Move desktop. What makes it stand out in the crowd of similarly configured desktop PCs is an embedded battery!
The Envy Move from HP looks stylish and features a bright 23.8-inch display. You get a carrying handle for better mobility as well. Of course, you get peripherals with the PC. There is a keyboard that has an integrated trackpad. As for the spec, it is neither underwhelming nor beefy.
You can opt for Intel's 13th Gen Core i5 U-series CPU and up to 16GB of LPDDR5-4800 RAM. The storage options range from 256 GB to 1 TB SSD. The 6-cell battery has a capacity of 83 WHr, lasting for about 4 hours. HP packs in a 90W power adapter.
As for ports and wireless connectivity options, the Envy Move has you well covered. A 5MP IR webcam is there and you get USB Type-A and C ports. There is an HDMI port too. It supports both Wi-Fi 6, and Bluetooth 5.3. The desktop weighs 9.04 pounds. The PC costs $899.99 but the availability is limited to a few markets, as of now.
