NXT; the developmental territory of WWE presently has one of the strongest line up for the potential top stars of the future. The NXT has already some huge stars like Sasha Banks and Braun Strowman, the present roster of the brand looks stronger than ever. Both men’s and women’s division of NXT looks quite promising.

One of the biggest names of the NXT at this moment who is expected to make his main roster debut soon is Trick Williams. He started his NXT career as a side kick of Carmelo Hayes who is presently active on Smackdown. Later, Williams became a bigger name in the NXT and presently he is listed as a two times NXT Champion.

How WWE Should Book The Main Roster Debut of Trick Williams; WWE Legend Explains

Recently, he dropped the NXT title to Oba Femi and there are strong rumors that the fans may get to see him getting his main roster promotion soon. Wrestling legend Tommy Dreamer is as excited as the fans about this potential main roster debut as he explained how WWE should book it. Speaking on the "Busted Open Radio" Podcast, he explained;

Trick Williams is a two times NXT Champion

"Trick is going to have to grow. He has all the tools. He just needs the push. And then you could also say here's the number one draft pick Carmelo Hayes seething that he hasn't gotten those type of reactions, all that stuff, which then helps Carmelo Hayes," Dreamer said. "And you could tell their history within NXT as well. That's a feud right off the bat, if you go that route, if they're on the same brands."

Trick Williams recently dropped the NXT Championship to Oba Femi

"There's a built storyline right there," Dreamer added. "And where you go with it, you could have your old boss [Hayes say], 'Hey, let's hook back up and take this company by storm. Hey, I was the one who got you here,' blah, blah, blah. [Have Williams] be like, 'No, man, I want to do it on my own. This is my opportunity. You've had your opportunity.'"

Trick Williams does have a history with Carmelo Hayes and this angle may seem pretty obvious but instantly after joining the main roster, such an angle would not make him a serious deal since Carmelo Hayes is nothing but a lower mid card in the main roster. A dominant performance in the men’s Royal Rumble match would have been a stronger main roster debut for Williams.
