It is evident that Honor is trying to make a strong comeback in the smartphone and tablet sector. After launching Honor 90 5G and receiving good reviews for it, the company has taken the wraps off a unique device, named the HONOR V Purse. First announced at the IFA 2023, the company launched the device on its home turf, China. The new V Purse has an outward folding screen which is unique.
The device features a foldable OLED panel with a 7.71-inch size and it also has a 2160Hz PWM dimming technology. When it is not unfolded, the size is 6.45 inches. The device resembles a stylish handbag and has tassels, chains, and feathers. Aimed at fashionistas, it is made to wear like a stylish handbag. Its display is bright with a 1600 nits peak brightness and so using it in bright sunlight should not be an issue.
As for the spec, it does not exactly come with the latest hardware but still has enough processing power. Inside the device, sits a mid-range Snapdragon 778G 5G SoC. The backside has dual cameras with a 12MP ultra-wide and 50MP main lens. It has 16GB RAM and storage options are 256-512 GB. The V Purse runs on the company’s MagicOS 7.2 and it is a dual-SIM device. Honor has equipped it with a 4500mAh battery and NFC as well. Pricing begins at USD 822.
