Honor is slowly climbing its way up to the top tier of the smartphone sector. The Chinese tech giant, after separating from its mother brand Huawei has been making headlines for its new moves. The upcoming Honor Magic 6 series is expected to give the home turf rivals and Korean players a run for their money. While there can be several models in the series, they all are likely to be laden with cutting-edge features. Not all of these have been confirmed by the company but online leaks have hinted at innovative and new features.
The upcoming Honor Magic 6 series is likely to feature the mighty Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC and it will also get a virtual assistant named Yoyo. It will be a successor to the Honor Magic 5 lineup, showcased earlier this year in Barcelona, Spain. The devices are expected to come with advanced inbuilt satellite chips. These have heat dissipation technology and need low power to run. The company also hinted at the possibility of the devices coming with Magic Capsule feature. This is going to be like the Dynamic Island found on the iPhone.
As per the online leaks, the upcoming Honor Magic 6 line-up will also have advanced AI features embedded. It will reportedly let users control many of the device features with eye blinking. Users will be able to open apps, run the browser without even touching the device. Honor has not revealed the launch date of the Magic 6 series though.
