Hideo Kojima is indeed one of the most names in the world of video games since the 1980s and he has produced some amazing video games throughout his entire career. He is responsible for nearly 50 games in his whole career and some of these games went on to become cult classics.

One of the biggest franchises that Kojima has produced is the world famous Metal Gear series that has been going strong for the last 38 years. Since its first installment, it has mostly focused on stealth based survival gameplay, which became extremely famous over time.

But the story here is not about the Metal Gear series. Here is some big news coming out on the Death Stranding series which is scheduled to get its second part by June 25 in form of Death Stranding 2 which is the next big project from Kojima Productions.

Death Stranding was released back in 2019 exclusively for PlayStation 4 and later it was ported to multiple platforms like PC and Xbox. Despite receiving mixed reactions from the fans for its different style of gameplay, it was a huge critical success. Some of the fans even mocked it as a walking simulator, with time, it earned a big fan base.

Famous actor Norman Reedus featured as the central character of the Death Stranding video game. The first sequel of this video game is on its way as Death Stranding 2 is scheduled to release June 26, 2025. But this definitely not going to be the end of this series.

Recent reports suggest that Hideo Kojima has already started working on Death Stranding 3, which clearly makes it clear that Kojima has a plan to go really long with the Death Stranding series. We can even hope for some spin offs and expansions from this series. Let us hope for the best.
