GTA 5 may have been ported to multiple platforms like PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Windows, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S. This is one of the few video games out there that has been ported to three different generations of consoles from one single company.
But much like most of the major video games out there that have been ported to multiple consoles, GTA V did not get a Nintendo Switch port. GTA V is not the only video game that was extremely famous but did not receive a Nintendo Switch port, there are many such examples.

GTA 5 may finally get ported to Nintendo Switch
There are even sports titles that get released on multiple platforms, but Switch users cannot get to play these games. For example, after the disastrous Switch port of WWE 2K18, no WWE video game apart from WWE 2K Battlegrounds has ever been ported to Switch.

There are other video games that went on to become best selling titles, and some of them even got their names into the list of top 10 best selling video games ever, but they never got ported to Nintendo Switch despite there having been many requests from the Switch users.

One such title had been GTA 5, which is the second ever best selling video game in history with 215 million sales overall, but surprisingly, this video game has never been ported to Switch. Seeing the massive success of this video game, the Switch users constantly requested a potential port, but unfortunately, that has never happened until now.
