Google Pixel phones receives security updates in the month of May and users got to download the latest version as soon as possible.
Update Available for which Google Pixel Models?
Not one or two but several Pixel phones are entitled for the update. From the 6 series the Pixel 6, Pixel 6 Pro and the Pixel 6a have this update available.
The 7 series with the update are Pixel 7, Pixel 7 Pro, and Pixel 7a. Along with these accompanies the Pixel 8, Pixel 8 Pro and the Pixel 8a.
The list does not end there. It continues with the Pixel Fold and Pixel Tablet, Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro, Pixel 9 Pro XL, Pixel 9 Pro Fold and finally the Pixel 9a.
For installing the update all you have to do is click on Settings then go to System and next Software Updates. This direction will help you complete and update your Pixel device.
What about the other Pixel Units?
The other units by the company has not yet received the update as Google is spreading this update faster than imaginable from Tuesday onwards and will continue to do so in waves. Next week security updates will take over the Pixel phones. These updates will be different for the Pixel models based on the carrier the device works upon.

Audio- To improve the recording capacity for microphones used by some apps in the device.
Framework - This is to fix the display of secondary language in the quick settings bar in come specific conditions.
Bluetooth - No more connection problem of the device with smartwatch as this update focuses to fix it.
This update will provide the listed Google Pixel devices with Security Patch Level of 2025-05-05 and will follow to maintain all the security issues those are clearly directed in the Pixel Update Bulletin and Android Security Bulletin of May 2025.
