First ever Xiaomi electric car makes the consumers unhappy. The tech brand now comes under extreme scrutiny after it makes it's first electric sedan car the Xiaomi SU7. There is a lot of controversy going around.

What Marked the Beginning of the Controversies for the First Xiaomi Electric Car?
The controversy began with the Xiaomi SU7 collision on a highway with a barrier in March leading to a total of three fatalties as per reports. It is since then people are raising questions about the safety features of the car.

The SUV carries an acceleration power of 0 to 100km/hr in just 1.98 seconds which fits it as one among the fastest cars that has a three digit speed surpassing even the car giants Lamborghini and Ferrari.
Although the car comes with a speed of 350km/hr the company comes with a declaration that this speed limits must be enjoyed only under safe and controlled race tracks.
More Hurdles for the Brand

The company is going through a legal battle with a charge against the company of advertising performance improving double air duct bonnet but all of this is a complete false claim by the brand. Along with this the company's claim of improved cooling and air passing through the carbon fibre bonnet also stands to be false as the test results by the owners has discovered the vents to be non-functional.
Xiaomi has openly accepted It's improper claims and as a form of compensation it announced to replace it's basic Aluminium hood but owners are still upset.
As of now the first ever electric car by the company Xiaomi SU7 is only available in it's own national market of China. On the other hand Xiaomi has made hints at making the car available in the global market. Not only availability expansion but also introduction of other models like YU7 and midium size SUV has been made.
