Some features of iMessage are such that they make iPhone users enjoy the service, but there are some features that annoy users at times: typing indicators, read receipts, auto-correct, and, at times, predictive text. These are not always useful but are somewhat pesky annoyances. The good thing is you will be able to spend birth to turn these things off. Let's see how to turn these annoying messaging options off on iPhone.

Disable Seen Status
If you use iMessage, you can tell whether the other person has read your message. This is the feature of Read Receipts.
How to make the option go away:
Settings > Messages
Switch off Send Read Receipts.
Thus, there will be no possibility of determining whether you have read their messages or not.
Turn Off Typing Indicator
You see the "..." symbol when someone types a message while using your iPhone. Others can see it when you type as well. This is sometimes uncomfortable.
There is no direct way to disable this function, but by turning off iMessage and sending messages through SMS, this typing indicator doesn't get displayed.
To disable:
Settings > Messages > iMessage > Off
Turn Off Auto-Correction
The auto-correct feature almost always ends up typing the misspelled or completely irrelevant word instead of correcting the wrong word.
To disable:
Settings > General > Keyboard
Turning off the Auto-Correction option.
Other options like Predictive Text and Smart Punctuation can also be turned off from here if desired.
Turn Off Message Effects
Sometimes, iMessages have these animations or effects that some people would not like. For example, balloons, confetti, etc.
How to Disable:
Settings > Accessibility > Motion
Uncheck "Auto-Play Message Effects".

Turn Off Voice Messages
Automatically-iPhone voice messages are deleted after 2 minutes from sending. Some find it very annoying.
To turn it off:
Settings > Messages > Expire (in Audio Messages).
Here, select "Never."
Some features are useful, yes. But some do not appeal to everyone. These can be turned off according to your needs for comfortable messaging use. These tips can customize the usage to make the iPhone friendlier.
