Just a month and a half to go before the release of the much awaited sequel of 2019 classic Death Stranding. It is scheduled to release on June 24, 2025 and it had been announced long before. The first part of this video game was critically acclaimed despite it received mixed reactions from the gamers.
Hideo Kojima, the maker of this video game, is also responsible for the upcoming Death Stranding 2 video game that is scheduled to release on June 24, 2025. There is not enough hype before the release of this game, unlike GTA 6, which is likely to get released by May 2026, but we can expect a blast.
Hideo Kojima wanted to avoid this title before the release of Death Stranding 2
Hideo Kojima sounded really excited about the upcoming release of Death Stranding 2 when he was recently heard speaking on his Koji10 podcast. He talked about a lot of things, including his upcoming project. He also explained which releases he wanted to avoid before the release of the Sequel to Death Stranding. Here is what he said;

“There are other Sony titles that are being released [this year],” Kojima explains. “It’s the same with movies. If a big movie is launching in October or November, then it’s already decided that you don’t release it around that time.” Said Kojima.
Death Stranding 2 will release on June 24, 2025
Kojima did not refer to any titles directly but it looks like he is referring to Ghost of Yotei which is the much awaited sequel of famous 2020 video game Ghost of Tsushima. Ghost of Yotei is scheduled to release on October 2, 2025, and Death Stranding 2 will release at least 3 months before Ghost of Yotei’s official release.

Kojima is famous for producing some of the cult classic video games and the famous Metal Gear series since 1987, and the series has spawned some amazing games like the Metal Gear Solid Series and others. We are hoping Stranding 2 is going to be a bange,r much like its previous part.
