CD Projekt's Cyberpunk 2077 has been one of the most talked about video games in recent years, as it has been quite successful too. It is considered one of the best sci-fi action RPG video games of the modern era, which has totally rocked the video game industry.
Originally, it was scheduled to release in 2013, and it is said that it was supposed to be a PlayStation 4 launch title. But the game faced so many delays. Not only could we believe in the planned date at first, but every time they were planning to release the game, it kept getting delayed.

Finally, the game got released in 2020 after more than 7 long years. The game was supposed to be launched at the beginning of the 8th generation of video games, but it could finally launch on the dying days of the 8th generation when PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S were released.

At first, the experience of the video game was not as fruitful as everybody expected it to be. There were many issues, like bugs and glitches. But they fixed the issues with continuous updates and patches. Lastly, the game runs extremely well at 60 FPS.
There is no confirmation on when Cyberpunk 2 will release
Presently, it stands as one of the most successful video games in recent times and is also a critical blockbuster. It's sold over 25 million copies to date, and it will definitely increase with time. There is some good news for the fans of the series who had been waiting for a sequel to this game.

It has been reported recently that Cyberpunk 2 is presently in pre production and they will start working on this huge project soon. Presently, no confirmations have been made on when this video game will finally release, but we can expect it to get released at some point by 2027 or 2028.
