Beat Em Up among the fighting video game fans. For more than decades, there had been loads of Beat 'Em Up games, and throughout the years, there had been some amazing games of the mentioned category that went on to become classics.

The first ever Beat Em Up game was made back in 1984 by Japanese publisher and developer Irem. It was made for the Japanese Arcade machines, and later in the same year, it came to North America. With its success, it was ported to the NES and its Japanese counterpart Famicom.

During the early days, Beat 'Em Up games remained on the Arcade machines mostly. Some of the games became extremely famous, and they were even ported to home consoles, much like Kung Fu Master. Some of these titles went on to become successful franchises in the future.

One such classic Beat Em Up title that went on to become a famous franchise later had been Capcom's Final Fight series. Originally released back in 1989 as an Arcade game, it became a huge sensation overnight, and it was also ported to multiple big platforms later, like SNES and Amiga.

The second and third part of the video game was released in 1993 and in 1995 (1996 in North America), and both of these titles had been huge successes. Capcom even released an NES version named Mighty Final Fight. The series almost died in the 90s, but in 2006, Capcom attempted to reboot the series with a modern style of gameplay with the title Final Fight Streetwise.

But unfortunately, this title had been a disaster both financially and critically. This title totally killed the franchise, and it could never be reawakened. However, there are rumours that Capcom is planning to reboot the series with a potential remake of the first title. A new version of this Classic Beat 'Em Up video game will definitely be a welcoming addition.
