Chelsea got a deal for Renato Veiga and Axel Disasi in the winter transfer window providing relief for management regarding the maintenance of the Player's salary to avoid loss in their total transaction as per PSR limit.

Renato Veiga has joined Juventus on loan who have just joined Chelsea from Basel 6 months earlier. Since joining the English side, he has played only in 7 games and most of them are substitute roles. Juventus agreed to pay a £4 million loan fee and cover his all wages for 6 months without an option to buy.

Disasi is set to join Aston Villa from Chelsea in their defender crisis after injury of Mings and transfer of Diego Carlos

Axel Disasi is on the verge of joining Aston Villa on another loan deal but the salary coverage and loan fee is still under discussion. Diassi came to Stamford Bridge from Monaco in 2023 in a £38.5 million deal and has started only four league games this season. In the total game, Disasi contributed to 2 goals and 2 assists in this season.

Aston Villa is looking forward to replacing Tyron Mings who faced injury in the West Ham game just after the sealed deal of Diago Carlos to Fenerbahce. The defensive option is very thin for Villa that made them consider a temporary solution and Disasi is the choice for the club. The Frenchman prioritized joining the Lions despite having offers from other PL clubs like Wolvhermton.

Unai Emery Accepted The Need for Defender and Looking Forward to More Signings In The Winter

Chelsea knows the need for a defender in Aston Villa which makes the deal nearly close from the Blues side. Villa boss Unai Emery said, “Of course, Diego Carlos left last week and we have to replace him. We are focusing with the sporting director and the club on which players could potentially replace Diego Carlos.

"We are open to trying to improve the squad until the last moment and we are open as well in case someone is leaving." However, Louie Barry has already been sent to Hull City as a part of a loan deal that makes Emery open to search for a forward in the market to keep squad depth intact in the team.
