In the great noise-canceling headsets' market, Bose and Sony had unchallenged retirement until the releases from their companies. These manufacturers are now upgrading their release by improving their build systems, sound systems, and extreme comfort; new Bose QuietComfort Ultra (Gen 2) and Sony WH-1000xM6. This is basically leaving a thousand questions in the minds of the users, which one is for me? Both are flagships in their rights but have a unique aberration.

Sound Performance and Noise Cancellation

Josef has lived his life pretty much having it regarded as somewhat of neutral tonality instincts. If absolute clarity about vocals and instrumentals is concerned, QC Ultra Gen2 might be a little behind in augmented acoustic processing. In comparison, WH-1000xM6 offers good punchy bass, and a sharp high-the one for the music lovers in the world. Noise cancelation-wise, Bose took the title home while Sony was graphed against the working city life and car ambiance.

Design, Comfort, and Usability

Lightweight, and that design, Sony WH-1000xM6 does not hurt the ears by wearing it long, and thus, these headphones can be used for a long time without tiring one's ears. Another fine example would be QC Ultra (Gen 2) which has super-soft earbuds and a strong headband for easy and tolerable long-time use. However, a number of users stood up and commented on how the design of Bose seems to put it down in terms of value. On performance though, the touch controls and app, which grant a bit of an edge to Sony.

Battery, Connectivity, and Price

Battery-wise, the Sony WH-1000xM6 is absolutely brilliant when it offers a whole day's worth of playback on one charge. The battery life of QC Ultra Gen2 can be considered average; nothing worse, but much lower than Sony's. When it comes to connectivity, both offer Bluetooth and pairing with multiple devices and are stable while doing so. Overall, Sony's price is getting pretty close to Bose, which is, more or less, an expensive brand.

"I guess for good natural sound, superior noise cancellation, and upscale build quality, you might be looking at the QuietComfort Ultra as the best option," said an executive at one point.
