In this context, particularly their competition witnesses a lot of their doings in the smartwatch zone: Apple Watch Series 11, Pixel Watch 4. All these two flagship models directly compete against each other while offering slightly different experiences. I was lucky enough to try both, and here are my judgments on whichever performs better and how.

Apple Watch Series 11

Design and Display

The Watch Series 11 design speaks of a sophisticated-looking watch. Its borders are thinner, a tiny bit brighter than ever, and the Always-On Retina display is, frankly, abnormal brightness for any longer outdoor use to obscure its view.

The Pixel Watch 4 takes yet another route with its circular AMOLED display that is reputedly excellent in color. But in light of the Apple Watch's great visibility, of course, the sunlight was no match to it in the glory of appearance. Meanwhile, color reproduction is said to be excellent but obviously, not as good as that of Watch Series 11 in direct sunlight.

Performance and Software

S11 is the new silicon powering the Watch Series 11, which has been upgraded for quirkiness and is now faster in command of power consumption. The WatchOS 11, meanwhile, flows so smoothly, and with adequate RAM, there are no hiccups while multitasking.

The Pixel Watch 4 runs on the current WearOS from Google. The Snapdragon W5 Gen 1 chipset offers an improved user experience, but if you assess the two in terms of heavy app load, Watch Series 11 takes the round.

Health and Fitness Tracking

Watch Series 11 further improved heart rate measurement, SpO2 measurement, and now adds blood pressure monitoring support and improvements in sleep tracking.

Fitness tracking is all well and good, thanks to Fitbit integration on the Pixel Watch 4 for workouts and activity tracking. Blood pressure and cardio monitoring are much more precise on the Apple Watch, however.

Battery Life Of Apple Watch Series 11 and Pixel Watch 4

Watch Series 11 fully charged lasts about two days. Fast charging, nevertheless, is adroit.

With heavy use, Pixel Watch 4 would last under one day, so it would need a full charge once every day.

Ecosystem Connectivity

Apple Watches have always been the best for the iPhone. Apple Pay, iMessage, and rest of course, with AirPods.

The Pixel Watch 4 syncs seamlessly with Android, especially on Google Pixel phones. This pairing takes the ease of use level up for Google Wallet, Maps, and Assistant.

Pixel Watch 4

Who Wins?

For Apple users, the Watch Series 11 must surely be the best bet. It betters the others in battery, health, and performance.

But for Android users, Pixel Watch 4 proves apt especially if you are a Google Pixel user, but you would have to learn to live with certain battery backup limitations.

Overall, Watch Series 11 has its own edge, whereas Pixel Watch 4 boasts its own significance concerning design and Google integration.
