Vivo has launched its new generation foldable smartphones, the Vivo X Fold 5, in China. It comes with design enhancements, improved functionality, and modern camera features compared to predecessor models, making it ideal for anyone looking for a premium foldable experience.

Display and Design of Vivo X Fold 5

X Fold 5 is thinner than its predecessors, making it a very light and less bulky phone. On the inside, the display has an 8.03-inch 2K E7 AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. The outer display is also a 6.53-inch AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz. This display employs ultra-thin glass technology, making it very sturdy.

Performance

This phone has been equipped with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset from Qualcomm, which surely speeds up performance. Capacity numbers include either 12GB or 16GB LPDDR5X RAM with up to 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage. Cover multitasking is free from any lag.

The X Fold 5 costs CNY 6,999 (nearly Rs. 83,800). Nothing is said about the marketing of the device in the Indian market, but this one is again expected to compete against other devices in the foldable segment from Samsung and HONOR.
