Commonly referred to as Acer, Acer Inc. is a global electronics company founded by Stan Shih, Carolyn Yeh, and George Huang in August 1976. It was originally known as Multitech, but the name was changed in 1987 to Acer. It was also the second new Acer mobile phone in the market, following the Toshiba TG01, with a 1 GHz Snapdragon processor. Acer achieved the next mean feet with the neoTouch P300 smartphone. Unveiled at the Mobile World Congress 2010 in Barcelona, the neoTouch P300 came equipped with a sliding QWERTY keyboard from the side, amongst other things.
