The Silent Hill 2 Remake has been a massive success and it has already managed to sell over 2 million copies worldwide. After the success of this video game, Konami has decided to reboot their flagship series with a new entry named Silent Hill F.
But the series of remakes will not end with Silent Hill 2. Reports suggest that the process of the Silent Hill 3 Remake is already going on, and we can expect this video game to get released after Silent Hill F, which is reported to get released by September 15.
Will Silent Hill 1 Remake release this year?
The next project after Silent Hill F is potentially Silent Hill 3 Remake, which is already reported to be in progress. Arguably, Silent Hill 3 had been the hardest game in the mainline Silent Hill series and the remake may maintain the charm of the original.

But will there ever be a remake of the first ever Silent Hill game that was released back in 1998, and it is still an exclusive for the original PlayStation? There had been a discussion of a Silent Hill 1 remake for a long time,e but it has never been confirmed.

But recent rumours suggest that there are considerations internally among Konami that they may be planning to work on the much awaited Silent Hill 1 remake. It will be an excellent gift for the fans of the series if they could enjoy the storyline of the first Silent Hill game with modern graphics.

But can it be released by 2025? Presently, the chances are very low, or better say, it is next to impossible. Silent Hill F is possibly releasing this September, their next project is probably Silent Hill 3 Remake, which will take at least 1 year. If they make Silent Hill 1 Remake, it cannot be released before the end of 2026.
