Price of Persia had been one of the most famous franchises of Ubisoft; one of the leading video game developers and publishers in the world. The first video game by the name was released back in 1989 and it was available for multiple consoles including NES and MS DOS.
Ubisoft made the video game world famous after they rebooted the series through The Sands of Time in 2002. It was a massive hit and it was praised highly by the gamers and critics. They rocked the entire world with the second part of this series names The Warrior Within in 2004 which is arguably the hit in the series.

The latest instalment in the series was released in January 2024 by the name The Lost Crown and it was released on all the major consoles of modern era including Nintendo Switch. This had been one of the biggest hits of the series as recent reports suggest the video game topped 2 million players recently, surpassing some of the biggest names of the series.

The Lost Crown is a 2.5D video game and it had mostly been an experiment. Thankfully, it went good and Ubisoft now may plan to give more focus on the series. Ubisoft India is presently working on Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Remake, if it goes good, we may experience remakes of the other two games of the original Ubisoft trilogy.
