Google announced the amalgamation of two mighty platforms this week: Chrome OS and Android. This sudden surprise was followed by another announcement-an entirely new professional series camera from Sony. All in all, techno and gadget buffs have been buzzing about both announcements.

Cross-Integration of Android and Google Chrome OS
For a long time now, Google has been trying to enhance the integration of Chrome OS and its mobile OS, Android. And now, more than ever, the announcement that the OS are to be merged into one platform altogether at various stages has finally come to pass.
Thus, primarily, the mobile flexibility of Android is merged with the desktop capabilities of Chrome OS. So, today's Chromebooks or Android tablets are going to be extremely powerful, multi-device compliant, and user-friendly.
Advantages
Same interface on smartphones and laptops
Better gaming and multitasking capabilities
Same apps on both platforms
Faster software updates and security fixes
As for integration with regard to front-end rollout, Google said that the rollout would begin in phases in about a year. This will create opportunities for developers to run the very same applications on Android and Chrome OS devices in the same way.
Sony Launches New Professional Camera
Another announcement that stirred excitement this week came with the new Alpha series Sony professional camera for videographers and creators.

Feature Highlights:
8K recording
Full-frame Exmor R CMOS sensor
AI-based autofocus and face detection
High ISO performance – somehow clearer in low light
Good heat management and long shooting times
With the Sony international launch slated for next month, the camera will be very beneficial for YouTubers, vloggers, and filmmakers.
From the Gear news this week, right from the word go, there is an insightful penetration into the future of technology: integrated, a place where paths have been carved upon customer focus. This decision to join Android with Chrome OS is a big gamble for Google, since the line separating mobile from desktop is getting a lot blurrier. In contrast, however, the newly-launched camera from Sony presents great opportunities for creators.
