Big day nearing for Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge. On it's release which is yet to be announced by the brand, this model may become the thinnest of all the Android phones Samsung presented till date in the smartphone market.

Big Update Coming in about the Battery
As per the latest big rumour, Samsung's Galaxy S25 Edge will now carry a relatively smaller battery in contrast to that of the other Galaxy S25 handsets.

What's the Fuss about the Galaxy S25 Edge Release?
Previously it was heard that the phone would launch in the first half of 2025. But later this rumour was dismissed with an X post made by Evan Blass, the industry leaker suggesting May 13 of 2025 to be the date of announcement. Although the image with the post was later brought down.
More Specs about the S25 Edge Battery
The leaks this time majorly discuss about the battery size of the phone. It is in the air that the reduced battery size is in direct effect with the thinnes of the phone. The reduced battery size is to be significantly smaller in capacity, i.e. 3.900mAh.
We call this significantly smaller with contrast to that of Galaxy S25 Plus battery that is of 4.900mAh. It is also 1.45mm more thick than the S25 Edge when compared.
What else the Leaks Suggest?
The phone is said to carry a 6.7" AMOLED display with 2,130x1,440 resolution and a body of Titanium. It will carry Snapdragon 8 Elite Chip with 12GB RAM and two different storage, first, 256GB and second, 512GB. There will be probably no expandable storage included.
For the camera, it will be designed to house two cameras although the exact quality is yet to be confirmed. It might have the ingress protection rate of IP68.
What Big Impact will this Latest Innovation have on the S25 Edge?
To conclude, it can be stated that the relatively lesser weight of the phone, i.e. 163gms is due to it's latest innovative smaller battery design. For confirmation we have to wait till our palms hold the handset.
